Staff Biography

Anthonia Ogo Uzuegbunam, Professor of Public Administration and Local Government hails from Nnobi in Idemili South L.G.A of Anambra State in Nigeria.  As a renowned teacher in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, she believes in hard work, research and publication.  She obtained some reputable academic qualifications including a doctoral degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.  Specializing in human resources management, gender, entrepreneurial and development studies, Anthonia Uzuegbunam perceives a direct challenge to understand and sustain human development through effective human resources management in Nigeria.

Her experiences as a human resources management scientist merited Anthonia Uzuegbunam membership and award of professional, national, and international bodies of high repute including Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) member, Social Sciences Academy of Nigeria (SSAN) Second Vice President, Nigerian National Association of Women Academics (NAWACS) member, American Biographical Institute (ABI) Board member and Fellow, Center for American Studies and Center for Indigenous Knowledge, Research, etc. (CAST), member, International Association of Gender and Science and Technology (GASAT) member, International Federation of University Women (IFUW/GWI) member, Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC) member, Academy of Management, USA, member, etc.

As a humble intellectual contributor to learning through research and publications, Anthonia Uzuegbunam has co-edited over 10 reputable journals and books, over 50 referred national and international Journals and conference proceeding articles, over book articles, over 50 conference papers and 4 technical reports to her credit.  Anthonia is happily married with children.
