Staff Biography
Dr. Agbebaku Dennis Ferdinand was born in Enwan town located in Akoko Edo local government area of Edo State, Nigeria. He completed secondary education at Yewa High School, Orile, Agege, Lagos State, Nigeria in 1988. He obtained his first degree in Mathematics (B.Sc. Mathematics) at Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University) in 1998 and proceeded to the University of Nigeria Nsukka for a masters degree programme in Mathematics. A programme which he completed and was awarded a Master of Science degree in Mathematics (M.Sc. Mathematics, Differential equations option) in 2007. In 2009, he was admitted for a MSc/PhD programme at the University of Pretoria, Hatfield Pretoria South Africa with Bursary provided by the University of Pretoria under the UP Pilot Bursary programme and obtained a second masters degree in Mathematics (M.SC. Mathematics with partial differential equations option). He also obtained a PhD in Mathematical sciences in 2017 at the University of Pretoria Hatfield South Africa. He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, University of Nigeria Nsukka. His research areas include, but not limited to, nonlinear theories of generalized functions, nonlinear theories of ordinary and partial differential equations, fixed point theory and fractional calculus. He typeset his research works with latex programming and the simulations and graphical display are done with MATLAB. Some of his research works are published in reputable journals.
